The proceedings in Parliament excite little interest. An im- mense

quantity of " business" has been carelessly despatched : and the House of Commons has nearly accomplished all that it will be asked to perform. Next week the Lords will get rid of a multiplicity of hills. Some will be passed, and perhaps more re- jected—few examined. In a subsequent page, we notice the only points arising out of the Parliamentary business which appeared to require especial remark.
