Dr. Hunter, one of the Edinburgh delegates to the National

Convention has summoned the treasurer of the Edinburgh Chartist Association for Si., the balance of expenses incurred by his attendance in London. Sheriff Arkley decided that as the Association was not a chartered body, Dr. Hunter could only pursue his claim by proceeding against each member individually.

On the 29th Jane, Edinburgh was visited by a thunder-storm of unusual violence. A house was struck by the lightning, and some clothes suspended en a screen were set on fire.
