Helping Harry Hammond

From Mr Peter Hitchens Sir: Harry Hammond, the preacher who was prosecuted and convicted after he was attacked by an intolerant mob ('Keep quiet or face arrest', 11 May), is currently appealing against his conviction. I am told by his lawyers that he does not qualify for legal aid. May I through your columns mention that contributions to his legal costs may be sent to the Harry Hammond Fighting Fund, Coningsbys, 87 High Street, Croydon, Surrey CR9 1XE?
