The intelligence from Spain consists of little more than rumours

of the retirement of M. BURGOS, and other changes in the Ministry. It is now stated, however, that MARTINEZ Da LA ROSA will certainly retain his office. The reports against the Queen's private conduct gain strength, and may do her injury. A Royal ordinance for the organization of the Urban Militia (a sort of Spanish National Guard) has been issued ; but the organization proceeds very slowly.

General QUESADA has succeeded VALDEZ in the command of the army and government of Navarre : VALDEZ is made Governor of Old Castile. What news there is from the insurgent districts, is as contradictory as ever, though its general complexion is favourable to the rebels.
