The Lord-Lieutenant arrived at the Viceregal Lodge, in Phcenix Park, on Monday.

Mr. Blackbtirne has been offered, and has accepted, the Mastership of the Rolls, rendered vacant by the death of Sir Michael Ologhlen. Mr. T. B. Smith, so recently appointed Solicitor-General, succeeds Mr. Blackburne as Attorney-General—Dublin Correspondent of the Morning Chronicle.
