The game of the name

Sir: Primrose Minney and I were amused by your speculation last week as to whether we were Hampstead or Tunbridge Wells-born following your recent item on the names Hampstead children receive. As much as 1 hate to wreck a good story, 1 must tell you that I was born in Huddersfield and Primrose was born in Croydon.

We have no objection to our names, nor to Huddersfield, Croydon or even Hampstead.
