The expedition from Toulon has not yet sailed, but its

departure is fixed for the 15th and 25th of this month. In the mean time, Ibrahim Pacha professes his willingness to quitthe Morea—which he could not keep—only he must be furnished with the means of removing his army to Egypt. It is doubtful whether his departure would affect the intentions of the French Government. Several young Englishmen of distinguished families, have, it is stated, requestedleave to join the expedition. The recall of Sir Edward Codrington appears to be very unpopular in France ; and the journals have taken occasion to re-discuss the propriety and advantages of the battle of Navarino.
