Royal rip-off

From Carola Zentner Sir: Re Leo McKinstry's article on rip-off Britain (Boycott Britain', 26 July), perhaps the Queen could set a good example by abolishing the £1 handling charge levied on Internet bookings to see Buckingham Palace. Aren't Internet bookings supposed to make things cheaper? As it is, £12 per adult is a pretty steep price to take friends from abroad to see our number-one tourist sight.
