Accounts from Hanover mention, that the city of Hanover was

about to protest against the abolition of the Constitution of 1833; and it was rumoured there that the Dukes of SUSSEX and CAM- BRIDGE had formally signified their disapprobation of the recent proceedings of King ERNEST. Seven Professors of GOttingen base signed a protest against the King's letters-patent ; but it is said that they are all foreigners, and have been dismissed by the authorities of the University on their refusal to take the oath of allegiance to the King.
