We have received a very pretty edition of Gulliver's Travels,

with Preface by Henry Craik, Illustrated by C. E. Brock (Macmillan).—The illustrations, which number one hundred, are quite admirable. There are obvious difficulties which an artist has to overcome in making attractive illustrations of these stories. Mr. Brock seems to have successfully overcome them. Some of the coarsenesses of the original have been excised without injury to its satirical force.
