Flyer crashes

Sir: The 'flyer' (in your 27 March issue) concerning the Maastricht Referendum Campaign twice states that 'only those who are on an electoral role should sign this petition', and additionally advises that the English language should be used (and, per- haps superfluously, that stampeding crowds leaving football matches should be avoid- ed). The patrons of this campaign might improve their cause if they got their spelling right.
