C. Bennett, Esq. Set to Music by Mary Cowden Clarke. We-have not before met with Mrs. Cowden Clarke in the character of a composer. But she is a Novello, and this song shows her musical blood. It is not.too much to say, that it is a most graceful and finished little composition, with considerable originality and much expression in the me- lody, and great artistical taste and skill in the accompaniment. It is one of those things which make an impression and dwell upon the memory.
