THE Queen gave an audience, on Wednesday, to the Honourable William Sebright Lascelles Comptroller of her Majesty's Household, and received from him the Add;ess from the House of Commons.

Her Majesty and Prince Albert gave an interview, on Monday, to Me. Mayer, of Liverpool; who submitted for inspection the silver cradle made for the Mayor of Liverpool and presented to him by his fellow-townsmen to commemorate the birth of a child during his year of Mayoralty. The Dutchess of Kent was visited by her Majesty and Prince Albert on Saturday; and on Tuesday and Wednesday evening, the Dutchess with her ladies visited the Queen.

Lord and Lady Ashley have been guests at the Castle.
