THE BURLINGTON MAGAZINE.
The principal features of the current issue are Sir Charles Holmes's article on Honthorst, Fabritius and De Witte and the examples of their work that have recently been acquired by the National Gallery; the continuation of Mr. MacColl's series of articles on French eighteenth-century furniture at the Wallace Collection ; and a scholarly and profusely illustrated account of the self-portraits of Ferdinand Bol by Mr. A. Bredius. Among the reproductions we are particularly impressed by the " Madonna and Child " by Neri di Bicci, from the collection of Mr. Annesley Gore.
