Naked truth

From Mr John Roemmele Sir: Quentin Letts ('Let's take our clothes off, 3 February) did well to expose our political and bureaucratic masters' shady hypocrisy in condemning innocent schoolchildren bathing in the nude, while overall extolling gay sex and morning-after pills.

I also went to his alma mater, Haileybury. more than 70 years ago, when we had to wash in hot-water 'toe-pans' before leaping into the daily freezing-cold bath. One was lucky to survive that and felt no need for extra modern brain-washing.
