False claim

Sir: I do not think that Taki can claim to be `the greatest Greek cricketer ever' (High life, 26 June). That honour surely has to go to his compatriot Xenophon Balaskas, whose Test career for South Africa stretched to eight games in the 1930s and included one century against New Zealand in the season 1931-32.
