[To THE EDITOR OP THE " SPECTATOR."3 SIR,—Your correspondent in the letter headed "The Raven in the West" in your issue for May 27th apparently refers to the Turkey buzzard, a species of American vulture, when he says the buzzard will feed on lambs, pigs, kids and calves. Our buzzard is a species of hawk, and would never touch these animals, having a rather small and weak bill, and would be quite incapable of attacking them, even if it had a desire to
