LETTER-WRITING FOR GIRLS A CENTURY AGO.
[To THE EDITOR OF THE " SPECTATOR:1 Sra,—In an article in the Spectator of March 21st on "Letter- Writing for*Girls a Century Ago," you say : "We do not know where the Temple of the Muses' is, or if it still exists, but presume it to have been a publishing house of repute." A very interesting account of this literary emporium is contained in one Of the essays comprised in Mr. Paston's book, "Little Memoirs of the Nineteenth Century," which I read on the strength of .a Spectator review, and was delighted with it.—
