Morley Sir: For those like myself who continue to be harassed by television licensing, and John Woodward (Letters, 4 August) in particular, Simon Foot, of the TV Licensing Fee Management Unit, in a letter dated 27 April this year, assured me, 'You are under no legal obligation to let [an inspector] into your home, and no attempt will be made if your permission is refused.'
