Two Poems
From Plato
Or all nights that a man has had,
Of all days too that made his throng, How many will be set beside Unbroken sleep a whole night long ?
Count them together, days, and nights. Dream-troubled, might his choice not fall On that one night ? Then how can he, Dreading not sleep, dread death at all ?
