X Rays. By G. W. C. Kaye. (Longmans and Co.
5s. net.) —Dr. Kaye is head of the Radium Department at the National Physical Laboratory. In this clearly written hook he aims at describing the present position of the study and the practical use of the rays discovered by Professor Röntgen in 1895. Dr. Kaye's work is neither recondite nor mathematical, and should be of great service to medical men and readers who take a general interest in the progress of science.
