Ryder will inquire of his local surveyor of taxes, or even of the Clerk to the Income Tax Commissioners, I think he will learn that "professional hind- jobbers who buy to sell again and make enormous profits" are liable to Income Tax, if not to Excess Profits Duty.—! am, Sir, &c.,
