Grammar crud Vocabulary of the Samoan Language. By H. Neffgen.

(Kegan Paul. 5s. net.)—Some devout Stevensonians Will be glad tohnow of this practical little guide to the Samoan tongue, translated from the German by Mr. Arnold B. Stook. It contains a fairly full vocabulary. Samoan looks a musical language, as every word ends in a vowel. The grammar is rudimentary. There are many agglutinative worde, each compounded of two roots. As Samoa is now under British rule, the book will be useful to our administrators.
