Sir: Sean O'Callaghan brings to light (`Mur- der with the
Fathers' help', 20 April) facts which most of us have been aware of for years, and which, for some reason or other, have always been evaded or covered up. The situation should have been tackled decades ago and what is sad and shameful is the consistent failure of his co-religionists in this country and in Ireland to do any- thing about it, and their dogged blindness, as evinced by their reaction in your pages, to the truth. Had it been otherwise many murders and much misery would have been prevented.
