Railwaymen's comments are curt on The standards of living at Merton. They say that the place Is a perfect disgrace And find much there to animadvert on.

The fellows consider they're slandered.

In the past they have reasonably pandered To tastes that have been Those of Maudling or Greene But can't rise So an engineman's standard.
