Printer's Ink
By CHRISTOPHER HOLLIS
Primer's ink is often a cause of eczema.—Scientific Paper.
Though men have died from overwork In thinking up a use for leisure, What honest citizen would shirk
The painful toils of modern pleasure?
Print is found tedious to be read, And therefore it is not surprising The press use photographs instead To grace the backs of advertising.
But why not just a vacant space? Could anything on earth be duller, When we confront them face to face, Than endless supplements in colour?
Eczema is caused by printer's ink.
Since learned doctors do not doubt it, It's very reasonable to think We'd be much better 'off without it.
