Fifty - two Further Stories for Girls. Edited by Alfred H. Miles.
(Hutchinson and Co.)—It is almost enough to say of this large and delightful collection of stories, that its editor, Mr. Miles, seems almost as much at home in catering for girls as for boys. It would seem, indeed, as if the young of the two sexes were fond of much the same fare ; at all events, the most interesting section of his feminine as of his masculine " fifty-two " is that which is devoted to adventure. Mr. Miles has secured stories from some of the very best of story-tellers on both sides of the Atlantic, in- cluding Rosa Mulholland, Sarah Doudney, R. Harding Davis, and G. C. Eggleston.
