In the division, seven English Members voted against the Bill,—Mr.
Labouchere, Mr. Bradlaugh, Mr. Burt, Mr. Mao- donald, Mr. Jesse Collings, Sir Wilfrid Lawson, and Mr. Thompson ; while some 85 Liberals were either shut out from the division, which was taken earlier than was expected, or deliberately stayed away, disliking the measure, though not sufficiently to oppose it. The truth is, however, that the measure itself has ceased to excite much interest even in the Irish Members, the events of last week having taken all the wind out of the sails of the Irish Irreekncilables.
