Bad hair days

From Mr Adrian Weak Sir; Sarah Sands shows commendable con- cern over the anxiety caused to small boys by the onset of the growth of pubic hair when they are in their early teens (`Leave those kids alone', 5 February). May I there- fore reassure her that it is as nothing in comparison to the anxiety engendered by the growth of extra nasal hair — and, indeed, the loss of head hair — when one is in one's thirties.
