Sir: Felix Pryor (Letters, 15 December) is lucky to have had any sort of communica- tion from the National Television Licence Records Office (NTLRO).

I have written them four letters since the beginning of November seeking instruc- tions regarding the conversion of a monochrome licence, issued to my late mother in April, to a colour licence for myself, as executor and beneficiary.

I sent the third letter by recorded deliv- ery and the latest addressed, hopefully, to the 'Chief Executive' in case some person with clout actually exists. I still await a reply.
