At the same sitting Mr. Balfour, First Lord of the
Admiralty, announced that another German submarine had been sunk, and that six officers and twenty-one men had been captured. He added that in future the treatment of sub- marine and other prisoners was to be absolutely identical. We congratulate the Board of Admiralty and the Government upon having come to so sound a decision, and having the good sense to reverse a policy which was thoroughly mistaken.
