Association, Glasgow.)—This manual of instruction on the "principles of first-aid to the injured," con- sists largely of the substance of lectures delivered by its author to ambulance classes. It does not fall within our province to criticise them, but we may point out the convenience of having the information on this important subject systematised nd put together in a convenient form ; nor must we forge to mention that the author has generously presented his labour to the St. Andrew's Ambulance Association.
