21Ir. Spring Rice arrived in town yesterday, from Dublin. He
visited Lord Melbourne in the afternoon ; and had an interview with the Governor and Deputy-Governor of the Bank of England, in Downing Street.
The Marquis of Lansdowne returnel from the Continent yesterday. Commissioner Sir Charles Grey is shortly expected from Canada. The long talked-of arrival of Count Pozzo di Borgo is at length fixed for the 20th.
Prince Talleyrand is expected in Paris between the 20th and 25th of this month. He is nearly well of his late illness, which his physicians
state to have been a fit of serious apoplexy. Not very serious, it ap- pears. It is thought that Talleyrand is the Wandering Jew.1
