Half-baked
Sir: Richard Munday (`Gunning for free- dom', 15 October) should state clearly whether he is in favour of guns of all kinds being freely available over the counter to anyone of any age who can produce the cash from his pocket.
If he is not, he should let us know just how much gun control he is in favour of. Either of these would be a more valuable contribution to debate than a series of

rambling historical analogies of the 'Hitler liked baked beans, you like baked beans, so you're as bad a Hitler' type.
