SIR, — Mr. Martin is being disingenuous. He is. ob- viously not
looking for opposition if he expects anyone to dismiss his formidable list of arts and media of communication in all their manifestations. All one need ask is—does Mr. Martin find that the general standard in any one is all that he desires?
And Mr. Martin is very naive to suppose that everyone would share his reverence for 'genuine talents and abilities' without even considering whether the use to which they are put is valuable or not.
