Stn,—I see that in one of your "News of the Week" para. graphs last week you speak of "Port Arthur and Kwang- tung." Forgive me for pointing out that the last word is surely a mistake for " Kwan-tung,"—which means East of the Barrier. Kwang-tung is the Chinese name for the province of Canton.—I am, Sir, &e.,
