We have received the seventeenth annual edition of Mr. Fry's
Guide to the London Charities, in which we learn that the coffee-taverns are being appreciated by the working. classes, and that the efforts towards establishing homes for business girls are proving succesaful.—The twelfth annual volume of the Parliamentary 134-Book, the contents of which this year are interesting, as showing the falling-off in the attendances of Members and the aggregate number of votes given this year, as compared with last, which were 178 and 42,202, in 1879, as against 194: and 52,961 respectively in 18713. There have been 237 divisions this year, of which 234 wore on Public Bills, and three on
