Sir: Is it not typical of the utter hypocrisy for which this country has become infamous, that while the now state-controlled British Leyland (sorry. Leyland Cars!) can shut down their plant in Italy that makes Minis without so much as a murmur of regret, Mr Wilson issues dramatic statements about 'guns at the Government's head' and 'Luddites' when the Chrysler Corporation announces its reluctance to remain in Britain?

What is sauce for the goose is surely sauce for the gander.
