SIR,—If the idea that 'broadcasting must be in a constant and sensitive relationship with the moral condition of society' has no meaning for Mr. Fairlie perhaps it is because he has an 'organic weakness.' Anyway in the 'unceasing controversy' he writes about between me and Cecil King, Roy Thompson and Associated Rediffusion, I always seem to lose. I just can't get the hang of it somehow.
