Mr Kinnock's heart

Sir: Why you should publish a letter (6 June) from an obvious shit like Sampson, heaven alone knows!

One meets people like him all over the world who sneer at goodness and moral courage and decency and who would run a mile if asked to do something for someone else. These smoothie fat-cats always have a lot to say, often a cover-up for their own lack of conscience.

Mr Kinnock is not perfect, but one thing can be said of him, he is good-hearted. He also has guts and standards, which is more than may be said of the Sampsons of this world I fear.
