Sir: In your Christmas edition you pub- lished Nigel Burke's dictionary of weasel words: 'ABUSE.... "He abused his right to remain silent by remaining silent throughout his trial."' Interesting the num- ber of people who appear to believe that Salman Rushdie has abused freedom of expression by freely expressing himself.
