ADMIRALTY, Nov. 11.-In consideration of the successful operations against pi- ratical junks in the Chinese Seas, as recorded in the " Gazette " of the 2d instant, the following promotions have taken place-Lieut. L. Wildman to be Commander ; Lieut. J. W. Webb to be Commander Mr. W. Brnbazon, to be Acting Lieut. (to be confirmed on passing at the Royal Naval College.) November 2. Corps of Royal Marines-Gent. Cadet H. W. Bamber to be Second Lieut.
