Esq. On the 3d of October, at his residence, El Retiro, Campden Hill, Kensington, Al- fred Edward Chalon, R.A., Portrait Painter to her Majesty, Honorary Member of the Society of Arts of Geneva, and Member of the Society of Arts in London, aged eighty.
