SIR,—Quite; and someone (myself, for example) should surely tell Graham Greene that he ought not to cheapen himself by indulging in nasty little sneers at the personal mannerisms of Lord Home on tele- vision. If Mr. Greene had really wanted to get such a message across to Lord Home in a better way than writing to the Spectator he could have said a word to his brother—or couldn't he? I mean Mr. Greene's not Lord Home's brother.
