Sir, Does it surprise David Holbrook to know that I pounced on and read his article before any other in last week's Spectator (April 7), not for digesting as sociological comment, but for titillation, as porn? .

" Fantasies of scopophilia . . . roots in infantile curiosity . . . parents' sexual acts . . . evident watershed . . . tide of scopophiliac depravity."

Reading that gave me an erection. Did writing it do the same for Holbrook?
