A Counting-House Dictionary. Edited by J. W. Kuhrt. (Routledge. 6s.
net.)—This new edition of a useful book deserves a word of commendation. It appears to have been revised with care. Many business men, who would not like to admit the fact, do not clearly understand all the technical terms used by merchants and bankers, in the Money Market and the Stock Exchange, such as " parity " or " general average," or the precise significance of the weekly Beni Return, though Bagehot explained it clearly in a famous book. To these and others the dictionary will be extremely useful.
