Life peers
Sir: Doubtless you have been impressed by the imagination and breadth of vision shown by the Prime Minister in his selection of life peers since be resumed office. It is to be hoped that he will continue to pursue his enlightened policy and that, in due course, the net will be further widened in his quest to make the House of Lords representative of all sections of the community. Two obvious choices spring to mind Messrs Sean Mac Stoifian and Ronald Biggs both of whom could speak for interests still sadly under-represented in the Upper Chamber in spite of Mr Wilson's latest efforts.
