A telegram from Paris in Friday's newspapers records the fact
that Fenner, the absconding stockbroker whose affairs were so much discussed in the Marconi Committee last spring, has been arrested on a charge of fraud preferred, apparently, by the Official Receiver. The proceedings against him will bring to the test the statements which Mr. Masse has been making in regard to the Liberal Party funds. As we have a predilection for dirty linen being washed and not left unwashed, we are very glad to think there must now be a full investigation.
