net.)—This is a very modest volume when we compare it with the massive tomes which supply similar informa- tion in England. Here the "Clergy List " contains more than a thousand pages and between thirty and forty thousand names. In this volume two hundred and forty-five pages give us particulars about the " Church of Scotland," the " United Free Church," the "Free Church" (with the names of eighty-eight ministers), and various nonconforming bodies, nor do we see anything necessary left out.
