March 12.—Yesterday the proctors for the ensuing year were elected by their re- spective societies, and their election announced to the Vice Chancellor, in confor- mity with the statutes. They are—the Rev. J. T. Round, ALA., Ballot ; the Rev. lt. Alder Thorpe, 31.A., Corpus.
